The biggest difference is you won’t be able to smell the aroma of the bouquets and decorations when you walk into the church if you use plastic flowers. Also, fake ones typically don’t come in near as many types and colors as real flowers. Your choices are definitely limited. Here’s a simple way to light your ceremony or reception that we think is perfect for holiday weddings: canning jars! This is a DIY project you can do in a snap. Wash and dry jars, tie a coordinating ribbon around the neck, and put your votive or tea light inside. Add a little water to keep the wax from sticking to the jar. You could use these just about anywhere: table centerpieces, ceremony lighting, along pathways … you name it!
